There was only one wooden master per passenger car model. 
For such master of pear wood the model maker needed approx 100-150 working hours.
With the help of such wooden masters the casting moulds were built.
The wooden master is 3 times bigger than the model 1:66. Thus one was able about
a engraving machine (pantograph) all details
in the cast mould take over.
